Welcome to Jasper & Jade! I’m the creator and owner, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Every necklace is crafted by hand in my home studio in Wisconsin, one piece at a time. I work with natural semi-precious stones, glass beads, and thoughtfully chosen details to create jewelry inspired by the colors, textures, and beautiful imperfections found in nature.

Each piece is designed to be one of a kind—because I believe jewelry should feel just as individual as the person who wears it.

But Jasper & Jade didn’t begin overnight. My love of making jewelry actually started many years ago.......

A very good friend introduced me to making beaded necklaces and bracelets. It quickly became a hobby we shared. We would walk to the bead shop on our lunch break and spend the entire hour looking at beads, choosing our favorites, and laying out new designs right there on the table.

I learned the basic techniques and discovered how much I enjoyed creating jewelry that reflected my own style. At the time, it was simply a hobby—but looking back, I think something much bigger was already beginning.

In the early 2000s, I discovered a company called Lia Sophia. A friend hosted a catalog party, and I ordered several pieces. I loved the jewelry—it was beautiful, well-made, and reasonably priced. I decided to host a party of my own, hoping to enjoy some of the benefits offered to hostesses.

The party was a huge success, and the independent sales advisor who hosted it with me suggested that I become a sales advisor myself. I jumped at the opportunity.

That chapter didn't last long. Between working full time, family, and the travel involved, I found it difficult to balance everything. Eventually, I had to let it go.

But I never really let go of the jewelry.

Fast forward to around 2018. I was introduced to another direct-sales jewelry company and decided to give it another try. I learned a lot during that experience, including how to use Facebook Live to share and sell products. There were some beautiful pieces, but ultimately, the business model wasn't right for me. The losses were greater than the profits, so I decided it was time to close that chapter too.

Throughout all of these experiences, I continued making jewelry simply because I enjoyed it.

I began to realize that what I really wanted wasn't just another opportunity to sell someone else's jewelry. I wanted to create something of my own—something I could build, shape, and call mine.

That led me to research e-commerce. After considerable thought and planning, I created an online fashion accessories store featuring jewelry, handbags, sunglasses, and more. I was excited to finally be building something for myself.

When COVID disrupted our suppliers and distributors, fulfilling orders became impossible, and eventually I had to close the store.

And yet, here I am in 2026.

At the end of June, my daughter got married, and I had the incredible honor of making her wedding jewelry and key charms for her bridesmaids. Creating those pieces brought something back to life in me. It reminded me just how much I love making jewelry—and sparked the thought that maybe I should try just one more time.

But this time, I wanted to do it differently.

I wanted to create something that was truly mine.

Something that wasn't about following a trend or selling what everyone else was selling.

Something I simply enjoy doing.

My inspiration has always been nature. I love its colors, textures, sounds, and imperfections. Nature feels peaceful, rustic, and beautifully unpredictable. What better way to express that than through natural gemstones?

When you look at my pieces, you'll probably notice that they don't all follow the same pattern—and that's intentional.

Some are soft and muted. Some are filled with pastels. Others have bright, unexpected colors. There are different shapes, textures, bold elements, and delicate details. I love bringing all those characteristics together to create something that feels like it has a personality of its own.

I want each piece to have a sense of feeling.

And so, Jasper and Jade was established.

This isn't something I am doing because jewelry is trendy. I'm doing it because I genuinely love creating it. I love searching for the right stones, putting colors and textures together, and seeing what emerges from the process.

After all these years, I'm finally creating jewelry in a way that feels completely like me.
