What type of materials are used in your pieces?

All of our jewelry is handcrafted using natural gemstones such as jasper, jade, agate, and other earth-sourced stones. We may also use glass beads, crystal glass, natural wood, or metal accents.

We use quality beading wire that is best suited for flexibility, strength, and durability. 

Most of our necklaces are finished with wire guardians or wire protectors, which help reduce fraying and stress on the beading wire at the clasp and connection points.

We use lollipop push-pin crimp beads to securely finish the ends of the beading wire. These components combine a small crimp tube with a side pin that is secured in place, creating a clean, professional finish.

Are your pieces truly one-of-a-kind?

Yes! Each piece is individually designed and handmade, meaning no two are exactly alike. Natural variations in gemstone color, pattern, and texture make every item uniquely yours.

What gemstones do you use?

We work primarily with natural gemstones such as jasper, jade, agate, and other nature-inspired stones. Each listing specifies the gemstone used in that piece.

What type of silver and gold do you use?

We strive to use gold filled or sterling silver findings and components in our pieces. In some cases, gold- or silver-plated materials may be used. The specific materials for each piece are noted in the product listing when applicable. If you have questions about a specific piece, please don't hesitate to reach out!

What is the difference between gold filled and gold plated?

Gold filled, sometimes called gold laminate, contains a substantially thicker layer of real gold that is mechanically bonded to a base metal core. It is generally more durable and longer-lasting than gold plating when properly cared for.

Gold plated jewelry has a much thinner layer of gold applied over a base metal, which can wear over time with regular use and exposure to moisture, chemicals, and friction. When possible, we choose gold-filled components for their durability and longevity.

Orders & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard shipping within the United States.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and standard delivery typically takes 3–5 days after that. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

If you need your piece sooner, express shipping is available for $15.00 and typically arrives in 1–2 days after processing.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship within the United States only.

Jewelry Care

How do I care for my gemstone jewelry?

To keep your pieces looking their best, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions — apply these before putting on your jewelry. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.

Are your pieces water-resistant?

We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, bathing, or exercising. Prolonged exposure to water and chemicals can affect the natural stones and findings over time.

How should I store beaded necklaces? 

Lay beaded necklaces flat in a jewelry box or soft pouch rather than hanging them. This helps reduce unnecessary stress on the beading wire and connection points. Store pieces separately whenever possible to help prevent tangling, scratching, and damage to natural stones or glass beads.

What is the iridescent flash I see in my labradorite piece?

That's labradorescence — a natural optical phenomenon unique to labradorite. The stone shifts from deep blue to gold and green depending on the light and angle. No two stones flash exactly the same way, making your piece truly one of a kind.

Are any stones fragile? 

Several materials in our collection benefit from extra care. Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass and can chip or crack if dropped on hard surfaces. Millefiori and Czech glass beads are also delicate and should be kept away from hard impacts. Softer stones such as rhodonite and certain jaspers can scratch if stored alongside harder gemstones. We recommend storing each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box.  Most importantly, handle all natural stone and glass jewelry gently.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return/exchange policy?

Each piece in our collection is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. Because of the unique nature of our jewelry, all sales are final — we do not accept returns or exchanges.

We take great care to photograph and describe every piece accurately, including materials, gemstones, and measurements, so you know what you're receiving. If you have questions about a piece before purchasing, please reach out — we're happy to provide additional photos or details.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We take great care in packaging every order, but in the rare event your item arrives damaged, please reach out to us within 3 days of delivery so we can make things right. We will require photos of the item and packaging.  Reports made after the 3-day window will still be reviewed and handled on a case-by-case basis.

Warranty & Repairs

Do you offer a warranty or repairs?

Jasper & Jade does not offer a warranty on its jewelry. If a piece develops a problem after purchase, customers are welcome to contact us and we will review the issue to determine whether a repair may be possible. Repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may depend on the nature of the damage and availability of the original materials. We do not guarantee that every piece can be repaired. This policy doesn't affect your right to report an item that arrives damaged — those are handled separately, as described above.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes, we do!  

If you see a piece you love but would prefer something a little different—such as the color, bead size, length, or overall design—please reach out through our Contact Us page. We'll do our best to bring your vision to life.

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
