There is something so beautiful about autumn when the leaves begin to turn, filling the landscape with rich shades of amber, golden orange, and deep russet brown.
Those are the colors that came to mind as I brought together these gorgeous, multi-colored carnelian gemstones. Their faceted surfaces catch the light beautifully, giving each warm autumn shade its own little sparkle.
I paired the carnelian with golden wooden jasper and gold-red rutilated quartz, bringing in softer, earthy tones that remind me of the natural beauty of the season. Tiny gold flower spacers add delicate touches of shine throughout the design, while a polished gold teardrop pendant with a sparkling little star adds just the right finishing touch.
What I love most about Autumn Jewels is the way it brings together two different feelings. It's warm, cozy, and grounded in nature, yet the glistening facets and golden accents give it an understated elegance that's just as lovely for an evening out or a special occasion.
